Heijastin, a Live-Looping group from Helsinki, Finland, is a brainchild of two musicians, Janne Storm and Viola Storm, who started searching for methods to express the music the same way it played in their heads.
Musically Heijastin can be described as a bastard that was born when Industrial-ambient sodomized world-music in a dark ally. However Heijastin's approach in creating their music separates them from most electro-industrial groups. All the music is created onstage, live. Heijastin plays frases, records them on the fly, and uses them as elements from which they create hypnotic soundscapes and ambiences.
